2020 Recreational Fire Permits

2020 Recreational Fire Permits

Due to Governor Ever's Safer at Home order and the closure of City hall the City has suspended the requirement to have a Recreational Fire Permit until June 1st, 2020, through Resolution R-18-20. All other restrictions regarding size, placement, and hours for recreational fires remain in effect.

The intent of the recreational fire permit is to give residents the opportunity to have recreational fires at single-family and two-family dwellings, provided that such fires are conducted in a safe manner in compliance with restrictions. The City of Menasha Police Department and Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue will enforce these restrictions to ensure that fires do not compromise safety or cause neighborhood concerns.

Permits can be purchased through the mail by printing and returning the form below or from the City of Menasha Finance Department at Menasha City Hall located at 100 Main Street when City Hall reopens to the public. The permit fee is $20.

Permits run from January 1st through December 31st of each year. You must obtain a permit every calendar year.
