The Menasha Senior Center, in downtown Menasha, warmly welcomes any adult 55+ to participate in the many activities we offer. There is no membership fee or residency restrictions. The City of Menasha collaborates with the Neenah/Menasha YMCA to operate the Menasha Senior Center.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of older adults by providing educational, recreational, social, and wellness programs and to meet these needs as requested by the community.

Class Fees: Activity punch cards available at the center. 14 Class punch card for $10.50. 28 Class punch card for $21.00

Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:45-10:30am. $0.75 Menasha plus instructor fee of $2.00.

Breakfast for Your Brain:

Pump up your brain with some mental aerobics! Come enjoy a light breakfast provided by Island Shores of Neenah, and get your weekly dose of brain fitness at the same time. Class meets every Tuesday from 8:15am-9:15am. .75/class. Class is eligible for fee payment using the MSC punch card.

Monthly bingo parties. Watch newsletter and check "Current Events" tab.

Computer Lab:
Computers, with immediate access to the Internet, are available at the center. They can be used by any senior between the hours of 8am-4pm (except Wed. afternooons). There is no charge for walk-ins, but a donation is encouraged. There will be a $.10 per a copy charge for all printed material generated from computer use.

Computer Classes: One on one computer instruction is available each Monday and Wednesday. Cost: $3.75 per lesson.

Craft Classes:
Monthly art and craft classes are offered at low cost to participants. Check the "Current Events" tab to see what classes are being offered in the coming weeks and months!

Greeting Card Class:
Come and create one-of-a kind greeting cards. Seasonal offerings taught each month on a make and take basis. Cost: $3.00/class.
Class meets the 4th Monday of each month from 12:30pm-3:00pm.

Presentations: Lunch and Learn!
Offered monthly covering many topics of interest to seniors (i.e.: legal issues, hearing loss, prescription costs, etc.) Donation basis.

Memory Cafe:
Part of the Menasha Health Department's Health Program in partnership with the Fox Valley Memory Project. Cafes are held at Elisha D. Smith Public Library in Menasha on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 1:30pm-3:00pm. Memory Cafés welcome those experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss or cognitive impairment, as well as family and friends of
those affected.  They are a great opportunity for lively discussions, information gathering, refreshments, camaraderie and creative fun!

Health Screenings:
Blood pressure screenings by Menasha Health Department Nurse, Meghan:  The 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 10:30am-12:00pm.  

Menasha Health Department's 60 Plus Health Program/ Wellness Room: A public health nurse will be available to discuss prevention services and any health concerns. A few of the services offered include, depression and anxiety screenings, cognitive screenings, fall assessment, blood pressure screenings, weight checks, health assessments, and health resources and guidance.  Please see calendar outside of Wellness Room for times.

VNA foot care clinics: The 1st and 4th Wednesday of the month from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Appointments are required by calling 727-5555.

One day trips are scheduled throughout the year. Call and ask for a trip brochure or check "Current Events" tab

Parties & Luncheons:
The seasons and holidays are celebrated each month with luncheons with include special meals and activities. Check the "Current Events" tab to see what we have planned!

"The Senior Chatter", Menasha Senior Center’s monthly newsletter, is available for only $5.00 a year via ground mail or pick-up at the Senior Center for $0.50 per copy. It offers a list of activities for the month as well as fun, interesting and informative reading material.

The Menasha Senior Center is a site for the Winnebago Co. nutrition program's noon meals offered to seniors 60 yrs and older. There is no charge but a suggested donation of at least $3.50. Contact MSC office for a calendar.

Benefit Specialist:
The Winnebago Co. Benefit Specialist visits the Menasha Senior Center the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10:00-11:30am. She is available to assist you with any public benefit program.

Leave a legacy...
The Menasha Senior Center's Memorial Fund was established to accept donation made In memory of...In honor of...In appreciation of...someone you wish to acknowledge. And it will also accept funds as Birthday celebration for...or Anniversary celebration for... These funds are used for long-term purchases that will enhance the center and that will benefit all seniors. (funds contributed can be earmarked for specific use if so desired). For further information, please contact the Senior Center at 967-3530.

The center staff will assist in identifying a local agency or organization that may help you with your needs.
