Police

Chief's Welcome
Thank you for taking the time to visit us. We are a community focused police department serving a population of over 17,500 people. Our goal is to go beyond traditional police services to make Menasha a safe and desirable place to live, work and visit. Our mission is to "Be a model of modern police services built upon a strong partnership with the community using respect, creativity and technology to find solutions and improve the quality of life and safety for all". We work towards our mission every day by using the Procedural Justice concept of LEED: Listen, Explain, Equity and Dignity. Our goal is to use LEED in every call for service, every traffic stop and every issue that we are asked to assist with.
We also believe in being transparent and using the most current law enforcement standards. As a result, we are proud to have received accreditation status with the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group's Governing Board. We are one of only approximately forty law enforcement agencies in the state to achieve such accreditation, which is based on law enforcement excellence by complying with standards deemed essential to the protection of life, safety and citizens' rights.
Please take a moment to go through our web site to see the services we are able to provide through the support of the community. Please feel free to contact me with any thoughts, ideas or suggestions on how we can help.
I am honored to serve as your Police Chief,
Timothy J. Styka
