2017 Street Construction


The 2017 budget anticipates investment of over $1 million to 
maintain and install street infrastructure including rehabilitation of:

-Deerfield Ave. from 150' south of Geneva Rd. to north end
-Meadowview Dr. from 150' south of Geneva Rd. to Lucerne Dr.
-Briarwood Dr. from Driftwood Way to Lucerne Dr.
-Apple Ct. from Lucerne Dr. to south end
-Second St. from Tayco St. to Racine St.
-Center St. from Main St. to west end
-Garnet Ct. from Valley Rd. to south end
-Emerald Ct. from Valley Rd. to south end
-Pearl St. from Emerald Ct. to Alcan Dr.
-Manitowoc St. from Fourth St. to Appleton Rd.
and from Ninth St. to Eleventh St.
-Railroad St. from Abby Ave. to Garfield St.
-Stardust Dr. from Woodland Dr. to Elmwood Dr.
-Jefferson St. from London St. to Grove St.
-Mill St. at south end

Reconstruction and rehabilitation of streets is included with your property tax payment.
There are no additional charges for reconstruction and rehabilitation projects.

The City will also construct new streets including:

-Province Terrace from Province Link to Midway Rd.
-Silver Birch Dr. from Birling Dr. to 170' north of Winnipeg St.
-Silver Birch Ct. from Silver Birch Dr. to west end
-Birling Dr. from Manitowoc Rd. to Birling Ct.
-Birling Ct. from west end to east end

Residents are assessed for initial improvements of new streets.  
The charges are billed with tax bills and have options for 5 year and 10 year repayment.

-First St. from DePere St. to Ice St.
-Second St. from DePere St. to Konemac St.
-Green Bay St. from Broad St. to Third St.
-Grove St. from Seventh St. to Ninth St.
-Fourth St. from Konemac St. to east end
-Fieldcrest Dr. from Greendale St. to Geneva St.
-Deerfield Ave. from Greendale St. to Geneva St.
-Jennie St. from Greenwood Dr. to Deerfield Ave.
-Winnipeg St. from Lake Park Rd. to west end
-Tahoe Ct. from Winnipeg St. to terminus
-Tana Ln. from Winnipeg St. to terminus
-Manitoba St. from Winnipeg St. to Villa Way
-Lugano St. from Manitoba St. to Manitoba St.
-Garda Ct. from Lugano Ct. to terminus


The City will Chip Seal the following streets:

-Konemac St. from Third St. to Plank Rd.
-Fifth St. from DePere St. to London St.
-Fieldview Dr. from 100' south of Deerhaven to Manitowoc Rd.
-Dreamfield Ln. from Fieldview Dr. to Southfield Dr.
-Northfield Ct. from Dreamfield Ln. to terminus

The City will be performing spot sidewalk rehabilitation within the boundary of the following streets:

-From Kaukauna St. and Main St. north to Ninth St.,
and from Little Lake Butte Des Morts east to Milwaukee St.

Menasha Utilities will relay watermain on the following streets:

-Jefferson St. from London St. to Grove St.
-Lake Rd. (channel crossings)
-Manitowoc St. from Sixth St. to Seventh St.
-Railroad St. from Madison St. to Garfield Ave.
-Second St. from Tayco St. to Racine St.
-Center St. from Main St. to west end
-Earl St. at Midway Rd. intersection

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is managing the street construction on the following streets:

-State Highway "441" corridor - Project link
-Oneida St. from S.T.H. "114" to south of Midway Rd. - Project link
-Oneida St. from south of Midway Rd. to north of Midway Rd.
-Midway Rd. from west of Oneida St. to east of Oneida St.

The Wisconsin DOT is in charge of project management and inspection of these projects.
