What is Expected from Members?
M.A.P. meets twice a month for training. Our training includes CPR and first aid, defensive tactics, communications, investigations, rescue, and disaster training.
M.A.P. members are required to work a set of amount of unpaid assignments per year. There are no restrictions on the amount of paid assignments a member can work.
There is no cost to join, as uniforms and equipment are provided by the City of Menasha.
Halloween 2005 brought the Menasha Auxiliary Police out in force to patrol the streets and keep our children safe. The response from citizens was overwhelmingly positive and the kids thought it was pretty neat as well! We hope to have officers walking the beat during next years Halloween.
