Shelter Attendant

Hart Park Skating Rink-Shelter Attendant Jobs

  • Supervise rink & shelter activity, rent skates. 
  • Flexible after school, evening and weekend hours available.
  • Work begins in late December through mid February.
  • Candidates must be reliable and have good oral communication skills.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Skating ability not required.
  • Starting wage is $7.50/hour.

Menasha Utilities is accepting applications for the position of Engineering Technician. Menasha Utilities is a Wisconsin municipal utility serving over 9,100 electric customers in a community of 17,437.

The Engineering Technician shall be responsible for assisting the Technical Service Engineer, GIS Specialist, Distribution Technician, Metering Department and Engineering Manager.

This is a management position responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of technical projects of the water, electric and telecommunications utility. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to engineering, electric and water metering, special projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager, organizing maintenance activities involved in the substations and electric distribution, supervising contractor activities, GIS/CAD mapping, construction standards.

Other responsibilities under the direction of the Engineering Manager include assisting with the development of the department budgets; strategic planning; capital replacement plan; and providing other support services as required. It also includes participation in Commission meetings, keeping current in areas of responsibility by attending workshops, seminars, reviewing professional journals and reports, keeping up-to-date on new trends, methods, and technology in related areas.

Seasonal Full Time Vacancies:

Seasonal Park Laborer

May - Oct. 31

Department of Parks, Forestry and Cemeteries

Long Term Seasonal (May- Oct 31) Park Laborer

The City of Menasha is accepting applications for a long term seasonal (May- October 31) Park Laborer. This is a manual labor position responsible for many aspects of the maintenance and operations of the Department of Parks, Forestry, and Cemeteries. Primary duties include a variety of manual and semi-skilled park, forestry and cemetery maintenance tasks and related work.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications of Position:

. High school diploma or equivalent

. Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment including but not limited to: mowers, sweepers, pickup trucks, tractors, chain saws, and other power tools.

. Working knowledge of the practices and principles of Park maintenance including but not limited to turf care, cleaning of shelter and restrooms, athletic facilities, and playground equipment.

-Must be 18 years of age or older (perform a variety of park maintenance duties such as mowing, string trimming, litter control, cleaning restrooms/shelters, ball diamond prep, etc.). Valid driver's license required.


Hours are typically 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. daily.

Starting rate is $11.00per hour. Selected applicant must be willing to establish permanent residence within 20 miles of the nearest city limit. Submit the application form from the link below to:

Summer Park and Recreation



Swimming Pool - Water Safety Instructors (WSI), Certified Lifeguards, First-aid and Pro-CPR Certification required prior to work. WSI class reimbursement available. Hours per week vary by position. Pool is open for public swim daily from 1:00-8:00 p.m. When in session, lessons are from 9:25 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
