As
of January 7, 2008, the Hart Park Warming Shelter will be closed until weather
conditions improve.
A comfortable warming shelter with
fireplace and limited skate rental is available at the park. Areas are set aside
for both free skating and casual hockey play. Hart Park is located on the corner
of De Pere and Seventh streets.
The shelter will close if there are no skaters for a period of more than 2 hours,
if the air temperature drops below zero or high winds exist. The shelter may
also close after heavy snowfall or during storm conditions.
