Smith Flower Gardens

The semi-formal public garden is a popular location for weddings and wedding pictures. Electricity is available in this area. Reservations for this area are as follows: Beginning the first working day in December of each year, City of Menasha residents only may book wedding space for two seasons in advance. (For example, on December 1, 2003 up through December 1, 2005 can be reserved.) The bride or groom or parents of the bride or groom or grandparents of the bride or groom may use their residency status to reserve the garden. Non-residents may only book an area for one season in advance, beginning the first working day in December of each year. With the Wedding Setup fee, there is no Park User Fee charged unless the party plans on using the pavilion also. However, the pavilion is reserved as a backup in case of inclement weather. With full capacity of park benches (80), the seating capacity is approximately 125.

The garden is typically planted just before/after the Memorail Day weekend.  Weddings held before Memorail Day may encounter some unslightly garden conditions.
