Constructed in 2002 at a cost of approximately $69,000, this 7000 square foot skatepark featuring Skatelite ProTM surface is open to skateboards, BMX bikes and in-line skates. Located inside Hart Park, participants are advised to use at their own risk. Restrooms are available at the nearby Hart Park shelter. Parking is not allowed in the retail parking lot adjoining the park, however, ample on-street parking is available nearby. The skatepark may be used between the hours of 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., however, skating after dark is discouraged since the skatepark is unlit at this time.

Skatepark lights were added in 2004 and are operated by push-button timer. Start times will be adjusted seasonally, however, lights will not stay on after 9:30 p.m. except for special events.

Skatepark Attendants are periodically scheduled to maintain order and keep the park clean.
