Vacancy in District #1 Aldermanic Seat

The City of Menasha will be accepting letters of interest, along with a resume, for the District #1 (Ward 1) Aldermanic position until 4:00 p.m., Monday, May 5, 2008. No applications will be accepted after this date.  All resumes and letters should be sent to:

A Special Session of the Council will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday May 19, 2008.  At this meeting, candidates for this position will be asked to provide a short presentation to the Council.  The Council members will then cast their votes and a successor will be appointed to the position.  The candidate will be sworn into office immediately and will assume the role of District #1 Alderman at the 7:00 p.m. Council meeting to follow.

Also, persons interested in being appointed to any City boards, committees and

commissions should submit their resume along with a letter indicating which board, committee or commission they are interested in to the Mayor office.
