City to offer free day of swimming!
The Menasha Swimming pool in Jefferson Park will offer a free day of swimming on Saturday, August 9.
Pool hours are from 1:00 to 8:00 pm. daily. The free day is available to all people and is being offered to encourage new people and families to visit the pool. Staff has worked hard to maintain a safe, friendly and clean facility. Enjoy!
Race day registration begins at 6:45 am in front of the swimming pool in JeffersonPark.
Register before August 9 at City Hall, 140 Main St. from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

At
the end of 2007 the Menasha Police Department put out a Help Wanted request
to the community to assist us in problem solving a growing drug trend
and the recent issues of gang activity in the parks. Our initial request
was followed by a group of citizens, neighborhood watch participants,
citizen academy alumni and local business leaders who answered the call.
Since January of 2008 they have developed a group and are working on a
strategy to fundraise $35,000 for the upfront costs of initiating a K-9
